The Do’s and Don’t’s of Sleep:
Getting a good night’s rest is so important to your health that it’s no wonder people are so willing to turn to prescription pills to get that sleep. But those pills can have dangerous side effects and can even backfire by giving you less-than-restful sleep, which puts you right back at square one. So how do you get some shut-eye naturally? First, there’s what you do and then there are supplements you can take to help you reestablish that good night. Your environment and your state of mind are critical: environment, routine, stimulants, temperature and mind are all critical – read: Five things that stop a good night’s sleep (the don’ts) then see the ten tips including the all-natural sleep aids you can try right away (the do’s”): 10 All-Natural Ways to Get a Better Night’s Sleep.
NOTE: In my experience, if you have not used prescription pills regularly (and recently), these all-natural sleep aids are very effective. If you’re used to the knock-out effect of prescription sleeping pills, you will find that this is very different – give it time and you’ll come to love using all-natural sleep aids. Also, remember: we’re all different and one thing may work better for you than for me.
