People for centuries have followed the moon’s cycles to determine when to plant and harvest crops; planting during a particular lunar cycle would determine how much a crop would yield. Why wouldn’t the lunar cycle also affect hair? Well, many people do believe that our hair growth cycle is affected by the lunar cycle and that following the lunar hair calendar is important.
According to Anthony Morrocco, who has spent over 40 years studying and practicing holistic hair care and the founder of Morrocco Method Int, the lunar hair calendar below shows the days that are most beneficial for retarding hair growth — in other words, they are the best days for shaving, plucking or waxing.
